The South Eastern Trust has today issued an important message for those who are due to attend the Ulster Hospital for their second Covid-19 vaccine.

The Trust say the Ulster Hospital vaccine centre is closing from April 26 with all appointments being moved to a new location.

Patients who have received their first dose of the vaccine at the Ulster Hospital and are awaiting their second dose are now asked to attend SSE Arena vaccine centre.

In a short statement on social media, a spokesperson for the South Eastern Trust said: "If you received your first vaccine at the Ulster Hospital and are due your second vaccine on or after 26 April, you must attend the SSE Arena Vaccine Centre for your second dose.

"A reminder text will be sent to all appointments 1 week before and 24hours before the 2nd Dose appointment reminding you to attend the SSE Arena instead of the Ulster Hospital."

Meanwhile, the Department of Health have confirmed that passengers arriving into Northern Ireland from designated red-list countries will have to undergo hotel quarantine, it has been confirmed.

The isolation arrangements have been put in place ahead of the return of international flights to local airports.
