Ulster Football Championship TV coverage ahead of bumper weekend

There is plenty of live GAA action for fans to enjoy this weekend.

This year’s delayed GAA Ulster Senior Football Championship begins with a big double-header on Sunday (November 01).

Donegal host Tyrone at Ballybofey followed by Derry v Armagh at Celtic Park.

And fans will be able to watch the action live on BBC Sport NI.

Mark Sidebottom presents The Championship starting at 1pm on BBC Two Northern Ireland with analysis from Oisin McConville and Peter Canavan.

Thomas Niblock will be on commentary alongside Martin Clarke for the  Donegal Tyrone  game while Oisin Langan and Martin McHugh provide commentary at Celtic Park.

Tessa Fleming joins The Championship team for the first time and, along with Thomas Kane, will be keeping viewers up to date with the action from the side lines.

Highlights of Monaghan’s preliminary round match against Cavan will also be shown between the two live games.

BBC Sport NI will have live TV coverage of six matches in this year’s Ulster Senior Football Championship as well as broadcasting deferred highlights of the other two fixtures.

There will also be live commentary of every game on BBC Radio Ulster and comprehensive previews, match-reports and analysis on the BBC Sport NI website and digital channels.
