Ulster confirm John Cooney and Robert Baloucoune suffered concussions in Tigers defeat

It has been confirmed that Ulster's John Cooney and Robert Baloucoune suffered concussions during last weekend's Challenge Cup defeat to Leicester Tigers.

The pair will now follow the Graduated Return to Play Protocols, and join five other players on the current injury list.

Also missing at present are Jack McGrath (hip), Luke Marshall (knee), Cormac Izuchukwu (knee), Stewart Moore (hip) and David O’Connor (shoulder).

Ulster are back in action this Friday in a Guinness PRO14 Rainbow Cup fixture against Munster at Thomond Park.

Dan McFarland's side are coming off the back of a 33-24 defeat to Leicester in their European semi-final on Saturday.
