Ulrika Jonsson says 'tears keep falling' as she struggles with bulldog's death

Ulrika Jonsson confided in fans she keeps breaking down in tears over her dog Nessie's death.

Her bulldog Nessie died aged nine last week after she was rushed to the vets with kidney failure.

The Swedish-British TV sensation, 53, admitted "tears keep on falling" as she continues to grieve the death of her dog.

Accompanied with her emotional message, the star posted a close up selfie of her face which was made up with heavy make-up.

She wrote: "Tears keep on falling but there are lovely moments in between."

Dog lover Ulrika tried to heal her heartache as she spent quality time with her daughter Martha, 16.

Martha tried to work her magic on her mother's spirits as she gave her a makeover during their mother-daughter time.

The glamorous mother and daughter pairing posed for the solemn snap in their living room.

Ulrika wrote: "When the ungrateful wants to do your make-up because you're still mourning."

The presenter has been beside herself since the death of her dog Nessie.

In discussion with her fans, Ulrika has been open about her heartache and mourning over the past week.

On both her grid and Instagram stories, Ulrika has celebrated Nessie's life.

She paid tribute with the words: "There are not enough words. Legend. Our best. Only b***h. You are watching over Dexter now #funpolice."

Fans were devastated for Ulrika when the star revealed her first born fur baby wasn't going to survive her health battle.

At the time, Ulrika shared with fans: "Ma grande dame. My first born fur baby. Has spent 48hrs at our lovely vet's. She's not going to win this battle.

"I've been beyond distraught and bereft. We will keep her at home as long as we can. My girl. #nessie."
