Ulrika Jonsson’s oldest daughter Bo rushed to A&E 'miles away' from family home

Ulrika Jonsson has shared that her daughter Bo has been rushed to hospital.

The TV presenter, 53, explained in a social media post shared to her Instagram Stories on Thursday that her 20-year-old - who has a congenital heart condition - was in hospital "miles away" from her but did not say what led to the young adult being admitted.

She also added that she is unable to visit Bo - which is due to visiting restrictions put in place amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Ulrika wrote alongside the post: "the face of no sleep.

"Fireworks, oldest Ungrateful [the jokey name she gives her children] ends up in A&E miles away and I can't go to her. Dog vomits, twice. #happythursday."

In February, Ulrika opened up about her recent struggles with "anxiety and exhaustion" after she became convinced her daughter had contracted Covid-19.

She revealed that her "ridiculously brave" eldest daughter Bo had her worried after coming back from university with "flu-like symptoms and painful chest."

Sharing a photo from the hospital of Bo hooked up to a drip, Ulrika wrote: "EVERYTHING IS FINE.

"But yesterday was fraught with anxiety and exhaustion. Oldest Female Ungrateful had come home from Uni full of flu-like symptoms and painful chest.

"Wasn't allowed to go to Dr's. 111 sent an ambulance to come get her (very calmly) and took her to A&E where Corona had to be ruled out in isolation and investigations pursued due to her cardiac defect.

"She was ridiculously brave - despite the distress it was causing her. Finally given the all clear.

"Mama is so proud and relieved. And will be eternally grateful to our #nhs which is always there when you need it and has been saving her life since before she was born.

"(Huge thanks to the 3 wonderful paramedics who treated her with such care and respect. And were sweet with our doggies. I bow to thee.) #nhs #cardiacdefect."
