Oleksandr Usyk raised a few eyebrows after brining a hurl to his press conference with Derek Chisora.
The Ukrainian boxer faces Chisora in a heavyweight contest at the Wembley Arena on Saturday night as he moves up from welterweight.
When asked where he got the hurl, Usyk replied: "It’s a present my Irish fans gave me, I don’t know."
Belfast boxer Tommy McCarthy fights on the undercard in London and posed for a photo with the hurl, as did his coach Pete Taylor.
McCarthy tweeted: "Usyk and Mccarthy in the middle of the park!"
Meanwhile, Taylor posted on Instagram: "I’ve great time for Ukrainian boxers, some of the best training camps I’ve been on were in the Ukraine.
"Wishing this great boxer @usykaa the very best in his fight this Saturday."
McCarthy faces Bilal Laggoune for the EBU European Cruiserweight Title and believes a win will put him in line for a world title shot.
