UK weather: Sunny conditions to continue on Sunday before 'thundery rain'

Sunny conditions are set to continue in Bristol tomorrow (Sunday, April 26) with highs of 19 degrees predicted.

Temperatures are expected to be at their peak at around 4pm, when the thermometer mercury is expected to reach 19 degrees.

However the UK outlook next week is less positive, with scattered showers on Monday developing into "heavy and possibly thundery rain on Wednesday," according to the weather service.

The Met Office's forecast for Sunday, April 26: "Staying dry with sunny spells on Sunday, with the best of the sunshine to the east.

"Another warm day, but cooler under cloudier spells on the south coast. Maximum temperature 19 °C."
