UK weather: Region to be hotter than Ibiza tomorrow as temperatures soar

Liverpool will be hotter than Ibiza tomorrow, as the sunny weather in the UK continues.

It was a bright and crisp start today, with fine and settled conditions set to last into this evening, especially under the strong, spring sun.

But while it will only peak at 15C today, tomorrow (April 23) is set to be even hotter.

By 4pm on Friday temperatures will peak at 18C, while area such as Cala Llenya in Ibiza will only reach 16C.

The Met Office said: "It will be a fine end to the day (April 22), but quickly turning chilly.

"Remaining settled and clear throughout the night, bringing risk of another frost, but less prevalent than Wednesday night.

"Another crisp morning turning into a fine and warm, sunny day [tomorrow].

"Remaining bright and dry but sunshine turning hazy from the west into the afternoon. Staying dry overnight."

The Met Office has warned that moderate levels of UV will be seen across the UK this week - with the rays being as strong as in late August.

This follows the coldest start to April since 2013, forecasters have said.
