UK weather: Hour by hour weather forecast as heatwave hits Liverpool

Temperatures are set to continue to rise in Liverpool as the city will once again bask in the sunshine today and for much for tomorrow too.

Forecasters had promised a July heatwave and it looks like it has finally arrived in Liverpool with temperatures expected to hit 25 degrees at points today.

The Met Office is predicting a warm and dry day with plenty of sunny spells with a few patches of cloud developing over certain areas.

Tomorrow is set to continue to be largely sunny and warm while the odd shower is predicted for Monday, July 19 - now nicknamed 'Freedom Day'.
