Britain has been battered by flash floods and thunderstorms this week but there's good news on the horizion.
Friday is set to be another wet day with sunshine and scattered showers for many across the UK, and a risk of hail.
But things should turn drier - and warmer - in time for the weekend.
Met Office meteorologist Luke Miall told the Express: “For Thursday and also Friday things are set to remain pretty mixed.
“This zone stretches from Belfast all the way down through Wales and towards the London area."
He added: “We could see the risk of some hail some thunder some pretty lively downpours with some surface water flooding on the roads as well.”
The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts for the Tyne and Wear coast and Wear estuary.

Heavy showers are likely to hit again on Saturday between spells of sunshine, according to the Mirror.
The conditions will turn drier on Sunday with sunshine and some warm temperatures in the south, likely hitting 17-18C.
Next week, temperatures could hit 20C as high pressure dominates, bringing plenty of fine, dry and settled weather, the Met Office said.
But clear skies mean it will turn quite chilly at night with widespread rural frosts, isolated mist and fog patches.
