A glorious spring-like weekend lies ahead for Brits set to bask in 15C sunshine.
But people are being warned not to let their guard down and to continue to stick to 'stay at home' Covid lockdown rules despite the good weather luring people outside.
Professor Jonathan Van-Tam, the deputy chief medical officer for England, yesterday told the British public at a Downing Street press briefing "don't wreck it now" in a stark message urging for discipline.
It comes as lockdown-weary Brits could be tempted out to parks and beaches this weekend by the good weather.

The skies are clear on Saturday morning across most of England, with temperatures hitting the mid-teens celsius.
The Met Office says the weather will feel quite warm at times, but also warns of overnight frost and patchy rain affecting Northern Ireland and areas in Scotland.
The South East and East are expecting the best weather of the weekend.

Met Office forecaster Aidan McGivern said: "Winter will go out on a whimper this weekend with conditions set to be very quiet and dry for most.
"For Southern parts of the country it's looking like a lovely afternoon with plenty of sunny skies after a frosty start to the morning.
"Temperatures won't be as mild as they have been in the last few days but the mercury will still be above average.
“Most parts of the UK will see temperatures of between 11C and 13C."
Today:
Many parts dry with plenty of sunshine after early fog patches clear. Feeling quite warm in light winds. Cloud and patchy rain affecting parts of Northern Ireland, western and southern Scotland.
Tonight:
Low cloud and patchy fog developing in places. Skies remaining mostly clear across southern and western parts where another frost is likely.
Sunday:
Fog and low cloud slowly clearing inland, though persisting near some coasts, especially in the east. Feeling warm in sunshine, but chilly along North Sea coasts.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Central and eastern areas seeing mist, low cloud, and some fog, clearing slowly each day. Elsewhere, mainly fine with sunny spells and night frost. A few showers likely developing Wednesday.
