Brits are set for sunshine over the coming days and sizzling temperatures which could hit 26C on Monday.
After a week of heavy rain for much of the country, due to a low pressure lying over the country, it is expected to be drier on Saturday and the rainfall is likely to be more intermittent heading into next week.
The low pressure has been brought from storms which are the remnants of hurricanes Earl and Danielle in the Atlantic.
The weather systems moving in from the Atlantic have also meant tropical weather conditions with the rain and also the warmer temperatures which are a lot higher than normal for the time of year.
Over the weekend temperatures could reach 23C and then get as high as 26C on Monday before a high pressure system takes hold bringing cooler and drier weather.

BBC weather forecaster Darren Bett said: "This weekend we should see spells of sunshine and it should be turning much drier as well but this very wet theme that we have had all week continued at the end of the week with lots of heavy and thundery showers across England and Wales.
"It has been so wet because we have had low pressure sitting close to us but that is finally beginning to pull away towards the east taking away those heavier showers."
In the morning there are still likely to be some light showers mainly on the east of the country.
Generally for Saturday there is "more in the way of sunshine, winds will be light, it may feel a bit warmer, temperatures around 19C to 22C," continued Mr Bett.

Looking to Sunday he said: "As one area of low pressure moves away and we start to dry off we look to the Atlantic to see a couple of areas of low pressure trying to push our way.
"It is going to be western areas which are more likely to see some rain. This rain may just brush the far south west of England for a while, push into the western most parts of Wales but the wettest weather likely to be here in northern Ireland in the afternoon.
"Much of Scotland, much of England and Wales, dry, some spells of sunshine, some early mist and fog around in the morning but those temperatures getting up to 23C, it will feel quite a bit warmer in the north east of England."
