Brits can expect sunny spells and highs of 7C after temperatures plummeted below freezing overnight.
After a frosty start, the first weekend of Spring looks set to be bright with the Met Office predicting sunshine and clear spells.
Early patches of mist and fog will clear with a chance of drizzle in parts of north-west Scotland.
Into Sunday, England and Wales will see enjoy dry conditions with some sunshine, with rain forecast in Scotland again.
Overnight temperatures of -4C will mean a frosty start for many before the sunshine breaks through.
The South West and parts of the South East will see highs of 7C with temperatures to nudge 6C in the North West of Scotland and 5C near Cardiff, Wales.

Yesterday the mercury dropped to a bone-chilling -7.1C in Loch Glascarnoch.
Looking to today, the Met Office said: "Saturday morning will start on a cold and frosty note in many areas, but there will also be some sunshine for most of us.
"Some places will have a cloudier start to the day and gradually through the morning the cloud will bubble up more widely, especially inland."

Although dry across most of England, a flood warning is in place for the River Burn in Norfolk, with 22 flood alerts scattered across the South.
It comes after February saw both the highest and lowest temperatures of winter.
Lows of -23C were recorded in Aberdeenshire on February 11, while the hottest day of the year was on February 24 when the mercury rose to 18.4C in Suffolk.

Sunday:
England and Wales dry with a mixture of cloud and sunny spells. Northern Ireland and Scotland, meanwhile, cloudier with some rain and drizzle, mainly in the north and west.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Settled initially albeit often rather cloudy, with light winds and some patchy rain for some. Rather cold with pockets of overnight frost. Turning unsettled Wednesday with rain and strengthening winds.
