Temperatures are set to plunge next week, with a band of rain bringing the glorious sunshine to an abrupt end.
As May draws to a close, June is forecast to see a new area of low pressure approaching the UK.
With it will come cooler and unsettled conditions, and the mercury could even drop to single figures in parts of the country by the end of the week.
By mid-week, temperatures in Scotland are set to hover between 11 to 17C, a drop of more than ten degrees from Friday's 28C scorcher.
A band of wet weather is also set to batter the country, bringing heavy showers to the south on Wednesday which will spread across most of the country by Thursday.

The chilly weather will come as a stark contrast to today, which is likely to bring highs of 26 to 27C.
Sunday is set to be a fine, dry day, and Wales and the Midlands are due to be particularly warm.
The east, however, will be a little cooler, with highs of 17 to 19C, while Scotland is forecast to reach 23C.
Giving the latest forecast, BBC forecaster Louise Lear said: "It's a settled, sunny end to May, but it's also a sunny end to spring of 2020 which is going to be recorded as the sunniest on record.
"The change arrives Tuesday night and into Wednesday there's a potential for a weather front to push in, and that is going to bring some much needed welcome rain moving its way from north to south.

"There's a level of uncertainty just how much rain we're going to see and the position of this frontal system by the middle of the week.
"But the trend is to see something a little cooler and something more unsettled as those showers move their way further south and a northerly wind digs in behind.
"We start off the week warm, dry and sunny, but then a change is on the way, cooler with a chance of some welcome showers as we head into next weekend, it looks highly likely that temperatures are going to be just below the average for this time of year."
