Heavy rain and showers have been the main feature of the weather over the past few days.
Unfortunately, that theme is set to continue into Wednesday, as a band of low pressure brings further cloud and outbreaks of rain.
There will, however, be breaks in the clouds in some areas, allowing for sunny spells and blue skies.

But heavy downpours will never be too far away, with rain affecting just about anywhere over the course of today.
Do you want a more detailed forecast for the next 24 hours? Here’s all we know so far about how the weather is shaping up for Wednesday.
What is the UK weather forecast?
There will be a cluster of showers affecting just about everywhere in the UK on Wednesday, with some of the rain being heavy in nature.
It won’t be a complete washout, though, as the showers aren’t expected to stick around too long, allowing breaks in the clouds and sunnier skies to shine through.
Where that does occur, the temperatures will be slightly up on what we’ve been used to over the past couple of days.
Morning
Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and south-west England have seen the worst of the rainfall on Tuesday, but that should clear as we go into Wednesday.
There will be some peppering up of showers across the UK on Wednesday, with just about anywhere potentially seeing a shower in the morning.
Temperatures across the country will be between 12 and 14 Celsius in the morning, with those expected to rise as the day goes on.
Afternoon
Heavy showers will come and go across large parts of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
There will, however, be some breaks in the clouds to allow for sunny spells, and temperatures will respond as they do.
Hull in England is expected to see the best of the warmer weather today, with the mercury climbing to a nice 22 Celsius.
Elsewhere across England, temperatures will be between 19 and 21 Celsius, so still feeling warm.
In Wales and Northern Ireland, the mercury will hit 20 Celsius in some parts, while Scotland will see the thermometer read anywhere between 16 and 21 Celsius.
Evening
The rain that we’ve had over the past day or two will gradually ease, allowing for further breaks in the clouds in some parts.
Northern parts of Scotland will hang on to some rain, heavy at times, and the cloud, as the evening progresses.
There will be some light rain or drizzle in Northern Ireland and parts of England, but it’s not expected to stick around. Wales will be mostly dry.
