UK weather forecast for Tuesday, May 28

After a mixed Bank Holiday weekend weather-wise, unsettled conditions are set to continue across the country.

Tuesday is expected to be another day of sunshine and showers for the UK according to Met Office forecasters. The heaviest and most frequent showers are expected across central and eastern parts.

Elsewhere, including in Bristol, there should be fewer showers and more sunny spells.

There will be highs of up to 19C and lows of 9C.

Despite the cloud which will set in over part of the day, UV levels are still expected to be high.

Hayfever sufferers will be pleased to learn that pollen levels will be low.

The outlook looks slightly more promising towards the end of the week but not before more rain sets in during the middle of the week.

The good news is, by Friday it will feel much warmer but will be more humid, forecasters say.
