Britain is set to face five days of downpours as the torrential rain continues.
The risk of flooding is slightly lower than in recent days, although there is a chance of rivers bursting in south-west England and south Wales today and tomorrow.
Flooding is expected across a wider area over the weekend, according to the Environment Agency.
The Met Office predicts heavy showers in south and south-west England and south Wales tonight.
Further downpours will grip south-west England and south Wales tomorrow, before a deluge hammers nearly all of England and Wales on Saturday.
Rain will sweep across Scotland on Saturday evening, before further showers on Sunday.

Brits will have a wet start to Monday, although the weather will brighten up in the afternoon, with sunny intervals expected across England.
An Environment Agency spokesman said: "Local surface water and river flooding is also possible in south-west England and the south of Wales... (on) Thursday and Friday and more widely across parts of England and Wales on Saturday and into Sunday.
"Land, roads and some properties may flood and there may be travel disruption."
The organisation has issued 14 flood warnings and 50 less serious flood alerts.
A spokesman for netweather.tv said: "Through Thursday there will be more rain for Cornwall and Devon, later Somerset as much of the UK has another quiet, fair day.
"The winds back more to an easterly and the rain keeps coming for south-west England, spreading towards Cardiff later in the evening.
"There is still a scattering of flood warnings and alerts over England so any incoming rain will be viewed with concern."
It will be fairly mild by recent standards this morning with lows of 2C, with highs of 10C expected later on.
Tonight will see downpours in Wales, southern and south-west England, with showers spreading north-eastwards into Northern Ireland, the Midlands and south-east England through the night.
There will be clear spells in Scotland initially, especially in the west, but showers will develop later in the east.
Tomorrow morning will bring cloud and patchy rain in eastern Scotland, Northern Ireland and northern England.
There will also be cloud and showers along the south coast, with bright spells likely for a time in south-east England.
Heavy rain is expected in Wales and south-west England
On Saturday, rain in the south will push further north through the day.
Sunday will be cloudy with patchy rain for most, but heavier rain will edge in from the south-west later in the afternoon.
