The Met Office has warned Brits their homes could be flooded today.
Heavy rain will spread across the whole of Britain this evening, bringing further flooding after weeks of washout weather .
A new weather warning has predicted up to 60mm of rain for parts of south-west England tonight and tomorrow morning.
The average total rainfall for October in the UK is 127mm, meaning some Brits can expect almost two weeks of rain in a 12-hour period.
The yellow weather warning will be in force from 7pm tonight to 7am tomorrow.
Temperatures are expected to drop to -2C in parts of Scotland this morning, before peaking at 14C in the afternoon.

The Met Office weather warning for today states: "Areas of rain becoming heavier for a time during Wednesday evening and the early hours of Thursday, easing towards morning.
"The rain will be accompanied by strong easterly winds, particularly along the English Channel coast.
"15-35 mm of rain falling widely with 40-60 mm possible in parts of south Devon and Dartmoor."
The Environment Agency has issued 23 flood warnings and 51 less serious flood alerts.
Tonight will be grey and cloudy across the country in the evening and there will be outbreaks of rain in Wales, Northern Ireland and western parts of England and Scotland.
Rain will spread eastwards across all areas through the night, heavy at times in the south and west. Moderate south-easterly winds.
Tomorrow will be grey and overcast with rain and low cloud in the morning, some of which will be heavy in Wales, southern England, Northern Ireland and western Scotland.
It will remain cloudy with outbreaks of rain through the afternoon but it will become mostly light.
A band of heavy rain will clear eastwards on Saturday and it will become dry for a time before further rain affects western areas.
Sunday looks unsettled with heavy rain in England and Wales. Mostly dry but cloudy in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Rain, drizzle and low cloud in the southwest edging slowly northeastwards. A frosty start in the north with early fog patches clearing, then northern and eastern parts mostly dry with sunny spells.
Tonight:
Rain, drizzle and low cloud moving northeastwards to affect all but the far north by tomorrow morning. Milder for most.
Friday:
A bright start in the far northeast, otherwise cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle at times. Feeling milder.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Unsettled with spells of heavy rain interspersed with bright spells and showers. Windy for many with coastal gales. Gradually turning drier, brighter and colder from the northwest on Monday
