Brits can look forward to another hot and sunny day with high temperatures forecast to reach up to 18C in the south.
But it won't last long with a cold snap expected to freeze the nation from next week with predictions of snow and sub-zero temperatures for some.
On Thursday forecasters predict it will be a bright and sunny start to the day for many but with some patches of cloud.
Conditions are then expected to turn brighter again by the afternoon where the dry, sunny weather will see temperatures reach highs of about 18C.
The warmest of these will be in the south of the country.

The Met Office said in its forecast that Brits should expect 'sunny spells for most' as it turns warm for much of the south and west.
But it will turn cloudier with some spots of rain as temperatures drop by the evening, forecasters said.
It comes before parts of Britain are set to be plunged into sub-zero temperatures from next week, days after scorching temperatures and a balmy Easter weekend.
A Met Office forecaster warned temperatures could plummet in the early parts of next week after Brits enjoyed the hottest day of the year on Good Friday.

Temperatures are to drop to as low as 4C in London next week, and as cold as freezing in Scotland, parts of Belfast and across parts of northern England.
Met Office forecaster Tom Morgan told the Express that "some rural spots" could even see lows of -3C in overnight frosts during the first part of the week.
