As we head into the first week of November, we expect the weather to become cooler as winter approaches.
Met Office predictions say cloudier skies with showery rain will affect some eastern parts of England on Wednesday 3 November, as well as some showers too in western fringes of UK.
Elsewhere, however, the weather remains mainly dry with some sunshine.

Morning
Temperatures will be close to freezing on Wednesday morning with 4 degrees in Scotland, slightly hotter in Northern Ireland but still at a cool 7 degrees.
Temperatures will range from 5-7 degrees in the north and 4 degrees in the midlands.
Wales will see 3 degrees and the south will feel temperatures of 4-5 degrees.
Make sure to wrap up warm if you're going out early because the cold will be biting.
Afternoon
Showers will travel to western and eastern coasts, affecting Northern Scotland, Newcastle, Hull, West Wales, Cornwall and Plymouth.
Temperatures will rise during the afternoon but will remain in high single digits and low double digits for many. 9 degrees in Scotland, 10 degrees in Northern Ireland.
Newcastle will feel 9 degrees, as will Birmingham. 10 degrees in Wales and 11 degrees in the south.
The sun will be out and about between 8am and 4pm in London.
Evening
The weather will become drier as the evening progresses.
