"Temperatures are likely to remain around average for the time of year, however a short colder spell is likely to occur at the end of next week for a time."

On Wednesday Brits enjoyed the hottest day of the year so far with highs of 18C.
Forecasters said the balmy conditions signalled the first signs of spring.

A spokesperson told The Sun : "There is nothing like that in our immediate forecast, or in our longer 30-day outlook which can be seen on our website homepage."
