UK weather: A dry weekend forecast as the weather turns warmer

It will be mostly dry this weekend across the UK as the weather is turning warmer for many.

Experts say during the last weeks of April the country will bask in temperatures higher than average for this time of year.

The weather improvement will be felt this weekend already.

On Saturday, any fog in the south will be clearing with many southern areas turning sunnier and quite warm.

Further north, it will be rather cloudy with odd light showers and rain will be slow to clear in the far north.

On Sunday, it will be bright and warm but breezy for many.

Rain will be moving east, largely clearing on Monday morning followed by sunshine and showers.

Remember though, you should only enjoy the sun in your garden, on your balcony or when going outside to exercise once a day.

This is the forecast for Bristol:

Saturday

After a chilly start with any fog or low cloud soon clearing, the rest of the day should be warm and dry with extended spells of sunshine. Breezy. Maximum temperature 15 °C

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday

Windy with spells of sunshine on Sunday and rain later on. Sunny spells with the odd shower Monday. Remaining sunny Tuesday. Staying warm throughout with a chilly start on Tuesday.
