Hong Kong has become the latest location to ban flights from the UK after the city implemented new covid measures to in order to tackle the spread of omicron.
Eight countries will face a ban on flights entering Hong Kong for two weeks from January 8 as part of the new rules for the city.
The eight banned locations are Britain, the United States, Canada, Australia, Pakistan, Philippines, France and India.

Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam announced the travel restrictions as authorities launched a city-wide search for the contacts of a Covid-19 patient - a 42-year-old man who tested positive for the omicron variant.
He is the first person to be infected via an unknown source on the island in almost three months.
Ms Lam previously said: "Hong Kong has been taking very stringent measures to guard against importation of cases with a view to maintaining zero local infection.
"In the face of the fierce onslaught of Omicron, we need to be even more vigilant."
