UK holidaymakers looking for late summer inspiration could sample the ultimate Mediterranean end-of-season party at a paradise location that normally plays host to the rich and famous.
Cook’s Club Adakoy Marmaris in Turkey will play host to an energy-filled “Extend the Summer“ party weekend, promising good vibes, great music, and plenty of outdoor action.
From Thursday to Sunday October 28-31, guests will be invited to take part in a series of sun-drenched events and activities, ranging from kayak tours, sailing workshops, and outdoor yoga.
There is even a chance for guests to give back to the incredible natural surroundings of the Cook’s Club Adakoy Marmaris, at a “Catch-up and Clean“ session on Bebir Island, directly opposite the hotel.
An introduction to local culture and flavours is also on the menu, with an evening of raki tasting and traditional Turkish mezes, as well as a “fish and eat“ dinner, where guests can join local fishermen to catch supper for themselves.
Performances by local DJs will ensure the perfect poolside soundtrack, while an open-air beach cinema on Sunday night will provide a romantic wrap-up to the weekend.
Alessandro Dassi, of the Fosun Tourism Group - owner of the Cook’s Club and Casa Cook brands - said: "We’re delighted that Turkey is no longer on the UK red list. Extend The Summer at Cook’s Club Adakoy presents our British guests with the ideal opportunity to make up for lost time, and end summer 2021 on a high.“
Cook’s Club Adakoy Marmaris is a modern take on a traditional Turkish village, nestled on the Mediterranean shore with 151 contemporary-styled rooms. A regular water-taxi service connects the resort directly with the city in around 20 minutes.
A four-night stay for “Extend The Summer“ starts at £585 per person, based on two sharing, on an all-inclusive basis.
