UK to Live Hottest Summer in 12 Years

Britons prepare to welcome the hottest summer for 12 years, suggest recent estimates. According to the Met Office, highs of 33C may be on the way in August. The high temperatures and beautiful weather will allow Britons to watch the World Cup games on big screens in streets without rains or winds; they will also have the chance to enjoy the Wimbledon Tennis Season without wetting their clothes.

According to The Metro newspaper, having higher temperatures would make 2018 the warmest summer since 2006.

Emergency services, transport leaders, business chiefs and councils have already been warned of the risks of a hotter-than-normal three months, especially that it is expected to be accompanied by a rise in atmospheric pressure that affects people’s health. The heat wave is expected to last for 3 months.

The Express newspaper reported on its site Monday that the south of the country will have the greatest share of this warm summer, while the north, especially Scotland will witness winds and rains.
