Feeling chilly? A band of sleet and snow is set to sweep across northern and eastern Scotland on Friday afternoon, and is expected to reach north-east England by night, according to the Met Office.
The snow will only affect higher ground at first, but will fall to lower levels on Friday night. There is a possibility the snow will settle in north Wales, northern England and parts of Scotland.
If it’s snowing where you are, share your images and videos with us. We’re not fussy - whether they’re of a disappointing few centimeters on your car windscreen and vast swathes of snow turning your area into a veritable winter wonderland, your images will find a home on GuardianWitness.
We will put a selection of your images together in a gallery on the Guardian website.
Though we’d like to hear from you, your safety and security is most important. When responding to this assignment, please make sure you put your safety and the safety of others first. Extreme weather events can be very unpredictable and carry very real risks.
