Brits are being warned there could be severe power cuts and travel chaos on Boxing Day due to severe weather.
The Met Office has issued a severe warning adding that some roads and railways are likely to be affected by snow or ice, leading to longer journey times by car, as well as by bus and possibly train services.
Some short term loss of power and other services may also happen due to the snow.
Parts of the country are already on snow alert with forecasters warning that the white stuff may come out in force and temperatures expected to plunge.
