Online shopping sales are soaring in UK, with lockdown forcing people to swap shopping trips for home deliveries.
According to the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics, the proportion spent online soared to 35.2% in January 2021, the highest on record. This is a significant jump from 29.6% in December 2020, and 19.5% reported in January 2020, showing a growing interest in shopping online. But will these trends continue once shops reopen?
