Millions of TV viewers plan to spend more than four hours in front of the box on Christmas Day.
Some two-thirds said they intend to use the festive season to get up to speed on their favourite dramas, comedy series and films.
TV time is second only to hanging out with loved ones when it comes to our most popular Yuletide activity.
Just over a quarter said they plan to watch the first King’s Speech on Christmas Day.
A third of TV fans plan to curl up with a festive film and 12% will binge-watch their top reality shows, the poll of 2,000 viewers by streaming service Crime + Investigation Play discovered.
And 35% said they would most likely be streaming their favourite shows rather than watching live television.
But 45% admitted they can feel overwhelmed by the amount of shows available to watch and stream.
And 34% admitted to having arguments with loved ones over what to watch during the festivities.
