UK's youngest drag queen praised by This Morning's Holly and Phil for 'great attitude'

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield could not stop smiling after they interviewed the UK's youngest drag queen on Monday.

Fabian Butler - who goes by alter-ego Francheska Valley when performing in drag - appeared on This Morning alongside his parents Darren and Rachel to chat about his success as an drag artist.

During the chat, the 11-year-old detailed how he first started dressing up in his mum's clothes from a young age and how he liked to experiment with makeup.

“Well about seven years ago I used to put on my mum's makeup and play around," he told.

He then added: "At seven I tried to do makeup properly and started to do stuff properly."

Fabian - who performed at DragCon in London in January - then went on to share with Holly and Phil how he feels when taking the stage clad in heels and mesmerising costumes.

The confident Welsh native exclaimed, after being asked by Holly how performing makes him feel: "I feel sassy, amazing, completely different and just I can do anything!"

His mum and dad started giggling and impressed by his confidence, Phil replied: "What a great attitude to have!"

Holly added: "You want to bottle that!"

The TV appearance comes after Fabian's dad Darren spoke about accepting his son's love for drag - after struggling at first to come to terms with the idea of his little boy dolling himself up in dresses.

Darren said: "I go into charity shops with him to get heels and jewellery - I'm definitely making progress.

The 11-year-old's positive attitude impressed the TV pair (ITV)

"I always compliment him when his makeup looks good and support him through everything.

"When we went to DragCon in London in January, I was taken aback by the amount of other drag queens coming up to me telling me how they wished they had a dad as supportive as me.

"He did a lip sync in front of 7,000 people to a Ru Paul song and people wanted to take pictures with him.

"It made me understand how difficult it must have been for them and I don't want that for Fabian."
