Keswick in the Lake District has been named the UK's prettiest town for 2021.
The picturesque market town topped a list of 160 destinations in the new rankings, with Pembrokeshire's Tenby and Devon's Salcombe taking second and third place respectively.
The rankings were determined by Fbm Holidays, who combed through data across 160 UK hotspots in a bid to find some of the most beautiful offerings across the nation.
As reported by LancsLive there were various factors considered when it came to the rankings including a destination's number of awards, Instagram hashtags, how often it's celebrated as a beautiful destination and even how many National Trust sites are in the area.
Speaking about the rankings Fmb Holidays said: "Keswick, a market town based in the beautiful Lake District, topped the list with almost 400,000 Instagram hashtags, 20 National Trust sites, 3+ million Google images and numerous designations such as being part of the Lake District National Park, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation."
Keswick has everything you could want for a picture-perfect getaway. For a start its location in the Lake District National Park means that it's surrounded by breathtaking green hills, azure blue lakes and some of England's most beautiful scenery.
Wildlife fans will want to keep an eye out for the likes of red squirrels and ospreys, while hikers can get their fill thanks to the beautiful trails to be found in the region.
Oh, and Derwentwater's blue waters can be an ideal spot for picturesque photo backdrops, or for adventurers there are plenty of watersports on offer.
