Britain’s oldest identical twins are making thousands double up with laughter... after finding fame in their hilarious online videos.
Lilian Cox and Doris Hobday, 95, joined Facebook a few weeks ago and have became a sensation with 20,000 viewers chuckling over their antics.
One film shows the ex-factory workers arguing over who likes actor Jason Statham the most after revealing they’ve seen every Fast and Furious flick.
Lilian, who has 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, flashes a picture of Statham she keeps in her make-up mirror, sighing: “He’s a cracker. Nobody can fight like him.”
Another shows Lilian fume over their new Samsung phones. “Phones gone all to west, no light on it. Can’t use mine,” Lilian complains.
The pair took a taxi to Tesco to complain and Lilian told The Mirror: “The man told us: ‘Keep on playing about with it and you’ll learn’. I told him, ‘I’ll use a hammer on it if it doesn’t work for me soon’.”
The giggling duo, from Tipton, West Mids, spoke of their surprise at being recognised in the street.
Doris laughed: “We don’t know these people who are stopping us. They are looking at us like we’re something out of space. We’ve been walking about for 95 years and they’ve only just found we!”
Asked about the secret of their longevity, Lilian answers for Doris: “She says no sex and plenty of Guinness,” adding: “I just drink Lemonade.”
Lilian’s granddaughter, Kerry Clarke, 34, who put them online in July, said: “They bounce off each other. People say they should have their own TV shows.
“They must also be the oldest people to have a Facebook page. It’s only been live a few weeks and they have 1,000 followers.”
