A spoiled dog which refuses to walk in the rain and stay in five-star hotels is in the running to be dubbed the UK's most pampered pooch.
Over the course of a three-month trip around Europe Miniature dachshund Louis's owners Charlotte Thomson and Joey Auger spent £50,000 to keep him happy.
The 'sensitive little soul who gets upset easily' was so distressed by his owners' new sporty Porsche Cayenne with a specially-fitted exhaust and heated leather seats, his owners were forced to ditch it after one day.
Louis, 3, had been taken for a spin, only to start having a panic attack and sweating copiously.
The couple lost £5,000 by reselling the car and then paid another £30,000 on a quieter Mercedes E Class Convertible.

Charlotte, a former Miss England finalist, insisted the dog joined them on what was supposed to be a 'romantic' getaway across France and Italy for three months.
Because Louis, who is a dog, 'didn't like sharing five-star hotels', Charlotte and Joey spent £50,000 on 15-bed villas to keep him happy.
Even just walking the dog has become a problem as Louis will refuse to go out in the rain.
He has apparently insisted on being carried home in a shopping bag to keep his paws dry.
Charlotte, 33, from Portreath, Cornwall, said: "Louis is a proper little diva dog.

"He's a sensitive little soul, he gets upset easily, but he knows I'll always protect him and look after him, we've just got that bond.
"Joey knows in the pecking order he's underneath Louis, he knows his place.
"We bought the car to go travelling in because it was big, pure luxury with heated leather seats and I thought it would fit all our bags in, it seemed the perfect option.
"I thought he'd love it, but not a chance.
"When I put Louis in his little car seat in the back he just sat there shaking like a leaf because it was so noisy.
"He had sweaty paws and he was just clambering to get out.
"We tried him five or six times up the road and he completely freaked out (having) like panic attacks in it. It didn't get the paw of approval.

"I thought 'we can't go travelling across France for thousands of miles so sorry the car's got to go'."
Charlotte described having to find a new car to go on holiday in two weeks later as "an absolute nightmare."
"Louis has gone full diva on me when it rains and refuse to walk a step further, as a last resort when he refuses to move I've had to put him in a shopping bag," the long suffering owner continued.
"He's just an absolute diva of a dog, he's got such a personality and he's so strong willed.
"It's like pulling a Doberman sometimes when you try and make him walk and he doesn't want to, you would be surprised at just how strong he is for such a little pooch."
Former model Charlotte and Joey, 41, who both rent out holiday homes for a living, booked into a couple of luxury hotels at the start of their Eurotrip.

They soon discovered 'diva' Louis barked at people walking past their room and 'didn't like sharing' communal areas.
Eventually Charlotte and Joey relented, swapping spa trips and fancy dinners for self-catered accommodation with air con and a swimming pool to keep the pint-sized pooch cool.
But because they booked last minute, the couple were forced to fork out premium prices for what wasn't already snapped up - racking up £50,000 on 15-bed villas costing £3,000 a week.
Despite splashing out the jaw-dropping sum on the three-month trip, Charlotte insists they're not 'flash' and were able to afford it by renting out their home.
Charlotte said: "It cost us an absolute fortune because we realised after the first couple of hotels that he didn't like sharing the hotel.
"Every time someone walked past the room he'd bark or if we were in the communal areas he was just like 'hang on a minute I don't like sharing'.
"We had to resort to getting villas with swimming pools because we had to dunk him every time it got hot.
"We spent about £50,000, it was a lot, because it was all last-minute and we didn't plan it.
"We would have preferred to be in five-star hotels, going to the spa and being wined and dined but we couldn't, we had to get self-catering because of the dog.
"We're not flash or flamboyant, we don't waste money on things.
"We'd just finished renovating our house in Portreath and put it up for rent on Airbnb for the summer and that sort of paid for the trip."
The trio soaked up the sights and sounds of France, including Paris, Monaco and St Tropez, before crossing the border to Italy.
There they visited places including Pisa, Florence and Rome before heading to Sicily - all with little Louis by their side.

Charlotte said: "We took Louis because I couldn't cope being without him.
"Joey suggested we go on holiday just the two of us - he said it would be romantic and we could do this, do that - and I was like 'no'.
"We got the Euro Tunnel over to France, went all through France and stayed in a few places around there.
"We went everywhere, including Paris, La Rochelle, on little boat trips, went to Monaco and St Tropez.
"Everywhere we went he came too, we didn't leave him once.
"He had a little seat at every table and every time we went for breakfast we made him a little packed lunch, we called it his little snack pack, and he'd have brie and ham and everything wrapped up for his little picnic for the day.
"Then we went through to Italy, went to Naples, Rome and Florence, we had so much fun and so many adventures."
Mini fashionista Louis was always dressed for the occasion, regularly sporting jazzy bandanas and sparkly collars.
Charlotte, who also has three chihuahuas called Coco, Barney and Chanel, said: "He had all different outfits and my mum makes dog bandanas so he had ones for France and Italy.

"He also had different harnesses, one was made of Italian leather with Swarovski crystals that twinkled in the sunlight and a Louis Vuitton collar to be smart when he gets dressed up.
"He had a little suitcase packed with all his treats in, he's a proper pampered pooch, I think his suitcase was bigger than mine at the finish."
Charlotte and Joey planned to stay on holiday for two months, but decided to add another month on and relaxed in Sicily before heading home.
Charlotte said: "Me, Joey and Louis would just sit on the beach listening to the concerts at midnight, it was really special.
"It was a holiday of a lifetime, we made so many amazing memories."
Dog lover Charlotte said the bond she and Louis have is incredibly strong, which is why he had to go on the trip with them.

Charlotte said: "The chihuahuas are more like cats, they just love being fed, running round the garden, doing their business and then sleeping.
"They're amazing and we love them to pieces, they're our family but with Louis he looks at you like he's almost human.
"He's by my side 24/7and is very rarely left on his own.
"Louis and I are just best friends. He's my little buddy, my little sidekick, he comes everywhere with me.
"He makes me laugh so much, if I feel sad or if I'm stressed he comes and sits on the sofa and just puts his paw on me. It's like he knows what I'm thinking, he's so loving."
