UK's largest Superdrug opens - with beauty studio featuring nail and brow bar

If you live in Birmingham and love all things beauty, then have we got news for you.

The UK's largest Superdrug opened at the Fort Shopping Park on Friday, November 8 - and it looks fabulous.

The giant store measures a whopping 10,000 square feet and is complete with a beauty studio where customers can treat themselves to a proper pamper session.

This is because the studio is complete with a brow bar and a nail bar, according to BirminghamLive.

It's located at the Fort Shopping Park in Birmingham (PA)

At the new store, customers will be able to purchase a selection of Superdrug's own brand products such as B. by Superdrug and Naturally Radiant as well as well known beauty brands such as Revolution, Gosh, MUA, Nip + Fab and Fox Tan.

The Fort Shopping Park has been undergoing a major redevelopment for some time.

Superdrug has now filled the space next to the recently-opened JD store where Arcadia stores Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Warehouse and Topshop were previously.

The Fort Shopping Park is located off the M6 between junctions 5 and 6, offering free parking and includes Primark, Next, Boots  and River Island plus a selection of restaurants such as Nando’s and Frankie and Benny’s.

Marjan Horne, Centre Manager for The Fort, comments: “We are delighted to announce the next phase of new retailers joining us or undertaking expansion at The Fort.

"As we continue with this exciting period of redevelopment, we remain in talks with many other new retailers who we hope to see joining us at The Fort very soon – watch this space!”

As well as the new Superdrug, Sports Direct will also be moving into the retail park next to River Island - and is to be 10 times the size of its current Fort store.

Due to open in spring 2020, the store will include luxury-clothing retailer, Flannels, which will sit within  Sports Direct  but have its own standalone store frontage.

Flannels will be bringing designer brands to The Fort, including collections for men, women and children.

And a pop-up Calendar Club store is opening next to Wilko soon which will be there until the end of January.
