UK's largest anime expo Sunnycon is coming to Liverpool

The UK's largest anime expo is coming to Exhibition Centre Liverpool this summer.

Run by an award-winning group of anime fans, SunnyCon Anime Expo will visit the city on August 10-11 when visitors' costumes could rival that of the successful Liverpool Comic Con event.

Special guests will include David Matranga, best known as Shoto Todoroki in the hit series My Hero Academia and as Bertholdt Hoover in Attack on Titan, and voice actor and singer Stephanie Young, who plays Nico Robin in One Piece, Arachne in Soul Eater, Towa in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Clare in Claymore and Olivier Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood!

There will also be three cosplay competitions and hundreds of merchandise tables.

During the event, Beanie Gaming will be running a variety of card game tournaments and free play.

Tickets are priced from £16.50 for general entry. 12 years and under go free with a paying adult.
