UK's first cheese themed hotel suite opens for stays - take a sneak peek inside

Cheese fans, get ready for Edam good time at the UK's first ever cheese themed hotel suite!

The Cheese Suite in London's Camden is an 'homage to fromage', with themed wallpaper, bedding, heaps of artwork, themed boardgames and even cheese soap.

Oh, and there will be cheesy music on offer for those who want to have a boogie too.

The accommodation is self-catered, but there's gouda news for those who don't like to cook as there will be plenty of cheese and crackers on offer, as well as a direct hotline where you can get cheese dishes delivered direct to the room.

We're talking the likes of Halloumi fries, Raclette cheese, croques, garlic sourdough flatbread with cheese and Camembert baguettes. Nom. Nom. Nom.

Café Rouge commissioned the suite to celebrate its new cheesy menu, having previously teased fans with concept art  - and now they've transformed it into a real life place where you can spend the night.

The suite boasts a bedroom, bathroom, and an open plan kitchen and living room, so it really has a home away from home feel, although there are stiltons of cheese-themed surprises for guests to discover!

Want to check it out for yourself? You'll need to register for the ballot on the Café Rouge's Cheese Suite page for a chance to bag a one-night stay. (If you're successful, you'll get to bring a friend along too!)

There's even cheese themed soap (Cafe Rouge)

The Cheese Suite will be open from the 29th January through to the 6th February, and nights will be allocated at random.

It's free to stay, but guests can choose to donate to the Prince's Trust, Café Rouge's charity partner, when they check out - you can find out more here.

Jacqueline Fletcher, head of marketing at Café Rouge commented: “"We always want to cater to the appetite of our customers, and we know that there’s a real hunger for cheese-based dishes after serving over 20,000 Cheese Afternoon Teas since launching in 2018.

"So, we wanted to give the nation somewhere new and exciting to be totally immersed in one of their favourite foods in none other than a cheese themed hotel, while also trying some of our winter dishes from the comfort of the sofa."
