Patients can find out how their doctors rate with a GP practice comparison website that compares medical centres up and down the country - and the best almost closed a couple of years ago.
Slaidburn Health Centre, in Clitheroe, Lancashire, has come out as the number one GP surgery nationwide in the view of patients.
The league table is based on findings from the GP Patient Survey - a major ongoing poll that sees more than a million people giving their opinion.
Anybody interested in finding out how their doctors practice compares can visit www.gp-patient.co.uk and they will be able to get a view of patient satisfaction.
Factors from trust in their doctor, the attitude of reception staff and how easy it is to get an appointment are all taken into consideration.

Up and down the country satisfaction in GPs varies greatly with some doctors in great demand which subsequently leads to long queues.
And with all factors are taken into consideration, Slaidburn comes out top.
Also in the top five patients’ choice were Egton Surgery in Whitby, North Yorkshire, Old Parsonage Surgery in Goudhurst, Kent, Batheaston Medical Centre in Bath, Cartmel Surgery in Cumbria, and Caldbeck Surgery in Wigton, Cumbria.
A full 100% of patients at the Slaidburn GPs said that their overall experience was good and 96% said they definitely had confidence and trust in their doctor.
Along with this, 99% felt their doctor listened to them attentively and 100% of patients said reception staff at the practice were helpful.
The rural health centre in Slaidburn was under threat of imminent closure only two years ago due to running at a loss.
East Lancashire Medical Services said it would pull out due to the costs of the doctors surgery that provided a five-day-a-week service for 1,100 residents in the village and surrounding areas.
But East Lancashire Clinical Commissioning Group confirmed that Bowland Health Ltd would take over to save it from closing.
