UK records more than 21,000 new COVID cases on Tuesday

Britain recorded 21,331 new cases of COVID-19, daily government statistics showed on Tuesday, up from the 18,804 reported the previous day.
There were 241 deaths within 28 days of a positive test, compared to 80 reported on Monday.
