UK Labour Party considers new Brexit referendum at conference

Britain's main opposition party has voted to keep open the option of a second referendum on the UK's membership of the European Union.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn had said he would prefer an election over another public vote on EU membership.

The vote opens up a clear division between the UK's two main parties - with the Conservative minority government still committed to leaving.
