UK holidaymakers allowed to enter Spain without quarantine from next week

Tourists from the UK will be allowed to travel to Spain from Monday without the need to quarantine on arrival, the Spanish Government has confirmed.

The Spanish government has announced today it will now let UK tourists in.

As a result, thousands of British holidaymakers are expected to jet off to Spain as early as next week.

But the country does currently remain on Britain's 'amber' travel list. This means that passengers returning from Spain and other amber list countries must complete a locator form and take a Covid-19 test for proof of a negative test result.

They must also self-isolate at home or in the place they are staying for 10 days. They will also have to take a Covid test on or before the second day of arriving, and on or after the eighth day.

The Government has advised that amber list destinations should not be visited for leisure purposes.

Holidaymakers can currently only travel to a select number of 'green list' destinations without quarantining under Covid rules. You can check the green list, amber list and red list destinations here.
