Boris Johnson has urged the public to persist with the NHS app after “frustrations” emerged with track and trace.
Chancellor Rishi Sunak said Sajid Javid was aware of the “frustrations” with the NHS app, with many people reported to be deleting the app after warnings millions could be pinged as infections rise.
Mr Sunak said: “I’ve spoken to the Health Secretary about this and he’s aware of the frustration that people have around this.”
It comes as Transport Secretary Grant Shapps announced that people who have had both doses of the Covid vaccine will be able to enjoy quarantine-free travel to amber list countries.
