The prime minister revealed the government will push for longer school days after it was announced school bubbles were going to end this summer in recent days.
Elsewhere in the discussion, Mr Johnson said it can’t be “both ways” with lockdown as the UK prepares for Freedom Day on July 19.
It was revealed MPs have voted against calls for the UK Government to “immediately” commence the Covid-19 public inquiry.
In PMQs, Mr Johnson said he was “deeply, deeply sorry” for the suffering everyone in the UK faced during the coronavirus pandemic.
