Three more countries have been removed from the UK safe travel list, Grant Shapps has announced.
The Transport Secretary said people arriving from the Bahamas, Andorra and Belgium will have to quarantine for 14 days from Saturday.
It comes as the latest NHS data revealed a 17 per cent rise in Covid-19 cases in the country, fuelling fears of a second wave of the disease.
Meanwhile, the number of people who have died after testing positive for coronavirus in the UK jumped by 49.
