UK coronavirus LIVE: UK records biggest daily increase in cases as toll hits 206

Another 43 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the UK, marking the biggest jump in numbers in a single day in Britain.

The Department of Health confirmed on Saturday that 206 people have tested positive for the virus, up from 163 on Friday morning.

Globally there have been more than 3,400 deaths and 100,000 confirmed cases of infection of Covid-19.

Two people have died from the virus in Britain so far, a man in his 80s in Milton Keynes and a woman in her 70s in Reading.
