Pub visits should be avoided even after coronavirus restrictions are lifted, England's deputy chief medical officer has indicated.
Speaking at the daily Downing Street press conference on Saturday, Dr Jenny Harries said that while Brits are keen to get back to the pub as lockdown eases, it is not the best way to reduce the risk of catching and spreading the disease.
It comes as The Sun reported Boris Johnson wants Brits to be able to get back to work from May 26, if cases of coronavirus are low enough.
Meanwhile, the UK coronavirus death toll in hospitals jumped by more than 621 on Saturday with the UK total passing 28,000 deaths.
