UK coronavirus LIVE: Boris Johnson accuses Sir Keir Starmer of 'wibble wobble' over schools reopening during fiery PMQs

The Culture Secretary has urged football fans to watch Premier League games from home to avoid spreading coronavirus.

At the daily Downing Street briefing, Oliver Dowden welcomed tonight's return of top-tier football but said there would be "nothing to be gained from crowding outside stadiums'.

Earlier, Boris Johnson accused Labour of "wibble wobble" over schools reopening during a heated Prime Minister's Questions.

The PM repeatedly asked opposition leader Sir Keir Starmer whether he thoughts pupils should be returning to school. Without giving an answer, Sir Keir said: “This is turning into Opposition questions – if the Prime Minister wants to swap places, I'm very happy to do it now."

It comes after a campaign led by footballer Marcus Rashford forced the Government to extend its free school meal provision into the summer holidays, ensuring 1.3 million children don’t go hungry.
