The number of coronavirus patients that have died in UK hospitals has risen by 55.
Some 44 deaths were recorded in England, there were three Covid-19 linked deaths in Scotland, six in Wales and two in Northern Ireland.
The figure is a rise on last Thursday's total of 33 deaths in hospitals, as the latest test and trace data shows positive cases continue to rise across Britain.
In England, the patients were aged between 60 and 99 years old and all had known underlying health conditions.
The deaths were between September 18 and September 30.
Five other deaths were reported with no positive Covid-19 test result.
A total of 31,373 new people tested positive for Covid-19 in England in the week to September 23, according to the latest Test and Trace figures.
