The UK death toll from coronavirus has risen to 43,575, the government said on Monday.
The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) also said in the 24-hour period up to 9am on Monday, 93,881 tests have been carried out or dispatched, with 815 positive results.
A total of 9,290,215 tests have been carried out, with 311,965 positive cases.
DHSC said the figure for the number of people tested has been “temporarily paused to ensure consistent reporting” across all methods of testing”.
The government figures do not include all deaths involving Covid-19 across the UK, which is thought to have passed 54,000.
In Scotland, no new deaths from people who have tested positive for coronavirus have been recorded for the fourth day in a row, said First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.
The new figures come ahead of the Prime Minister's major speech on Tuesday, in which he is expected to deliver a massive infrastructure project to get the economy into full swing again.
He told Times Radio the coronavirus pandemic has been a "disaster" for the UK, but the government wants to "build back better" by investing in infrastructure, transport, broadband and beyond.
