Covid cases have fallen for the sixth day in a row in Britain.
A further 138 fatalities were announced today - seven more than the 131 logged last Tuesday, which was the highest in four months.
Today 21,691 people were confirmed as having tested positive, compared to last Tuesday's figure of 23,228.
The data released this afternoon also shows positive cases are down by 20.5 percent in the last seven days.
Yesterday there were 21,952 new official infections and 24 deaths.
The sharp decline in new infections since July 19 has puzzled experts, with a huge surge in new cases expected after restrictions were lifted on Freedom Day.

A total of 46,872,411 people have had at least one dose of the vaccine in Britain, and 38,464,025 are fully inoculated.
It comes as a US doctor shared scans of Covid-infected lungs and those not affected by the virus to show the stark contrast between the two.
Dr Ghassan Kamel, director of the Medical ICU at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in Missouri, has been treating thousands of people stricken by the virus since it exploded in March last year, reported KSDK.
In an effort to encourage unvaccinated people to get the jab, the doctor showed what effect the virus actually has inside a human's lungs.
The person who hasn't had the jab has a lot of white on their X-ray. This indicates a lack of space.
There is less space for air to be breathed in because of something called lung opacities.
Lung opacities are vague, fuzzy clouds of white in the darkness of the lungs, which usually indicate that the lungs are full of things such as fluid, bacteria, or immune system cells.
It also means the patient is not able to intake as much oxygen as they normally would.
Meanwhile, China's Wuhan will test all of its 12 million residents for the coronavirus after cases were recorded locally for the first time since May 2020, an official said on Tuesday,
The move comes as the city - which is where the virus emerged in late 2019 - confirmed its first domestic cases of the highly transmissible Delta variant.
Three cases were confirmed on Monday, prompting officials to order a mass screening of the population to "ensure that everyone in the city is safe".
