UK car industry says draft Brexit deal is 'positive step'

The UK's automotive industry has broadly welcomed Theresa May's proposed Brexit deal as a "positive step". That's primarily because of the 21-month transition period, which gives companies time to rejig supply chains and trade routes. Meanwhile, Ford is seeking outside investment to funnel into its development of autonomous vehicles, Coca-Cola is facing a charge of corporate fraud and Japan Airlines is having to impose new measures to crack down on drunk pilots.
